What can we learn from animals? Have you ever asked yourselves this question?

We are fully convinced that teaching materials, whether for the formal or non-formal learning systems, can be attractive both for children, young people (13 to 29 years old)and adults if they include games about nature and animals.

The LEHUA – Learning Humanity from Animals project (Erasmus + 2016-3-HU01-KA205-002032) aims to develop a self-development learning module through in-depth knowledge of nature and animals.

Thus, in June, a first meeting among the project partners took place in Tîrgu-Mureș, to select those games about nature and animals, that have a real impact on the learning process. Ideas have been numerous, and those games that we’ve tested in nature as well as indoors, chalanged  our senses, our ways of communication, put to the test our knowledge of biodiversity as well as our self-knowledge!

We thank the partners for their innovative ideas – Rogers Foundation for Person-Centered Education, Hungary (project promoter), Botanical and Zoological Garden in Budapest, Hungary and TANDEM n.o., Slovakia.

The specialist consultant of the project is ANL Germany – Bavarian Academy for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management.
