Are you a young passionate about biology and willing to develop your own research project? Then you can be among the Milvus scholars. Projects in recent years have brought tremendous and encouraging results regarding certain protected species in Romania. Thus, Georgiana Păun in her project „Steppe viper in Transylvania: identifying habitats using new techniques of modelling the ecological niche” found a new population of viper! Petrișor Gălan helped us with important data through „Identifying Red-footed Falcon colonies (Falco vespertinus) in Moldavia, Romania” and Kovács Csilla wandered the mountains for „Researching habitats of capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus rudolf)”. The next researcher might be you! Download the form and win an individual scholarship of 1500 RON or a group scholarship of 3000 RON. The scholarship is open to students (high school, college and university) interested in zoology, ecology and/or nature protection and needs to be carried out in Romania. The purpose of the scholarship is to help young researchers in the development of individual or group projects. Through the assessment procedure, we will select the best innovative projects that coincide with the general objectives of the Milvus Group, themes in the study of animal and plant, endangered and/or protected species, protected areas and Natura 2000 sites or monitoring activities.
