More and more people are reaching out to us asking for help with the purchase and installation of stork nest support platforms. Unfortunately, we currently don’t have the financial resources to support these requests, but we are happy to provide guidance and advice.

However, we would like to show that there is a solution that works: community collaboration.

A great example comes from Căpleni (Satu Mare County), where an old barn had to be demolished, but the stork nest on its roof was not left to disappear. The local authority covered the costs of purchasing the support and relocating the nest, and together with the community, they moved the nest to a safe location. 

This is already the second such community effort in Căpleni, after they have rebuilt a nest destroyed by a storm. So, yet another proof that together we can truly make a difference for nature and for each other.

The stork pair has already taken over the new nest and started building their family.
