The pair of storks that lost their chicks in the first nest monitored by webcam in Dumbrăvioara (Mureș County) kept returning to the nest to maintain it and spend the nights there. They sat side by side like an old couple who have suffered loss, yet their tragedy only made their relationship stronger.
In the other nest, July brought the final flying exam for the four chicks. One by one, they left the nest for the first time, rising up to the sky — uncertain, yet brave. The youngest, who hatched last and seemed more fragile at first, was also the last to take off — on July 6th. Although they can fly, they are not yet able to find food on their own, so the parents continue to feed them with great dedication.
