Rehabilitating a wild animal often requires the involvement of several people and institutions.

Take, for example, the swan in the video below.

  • A veterinarian from Dindești has reported a weak swan to the Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Directorates of Satu-Mare County.
  • The directorate’s representatives contacted the Environmental Guard of Satu-Mare County.
  • The director of the Guard, Vasile Fănățean, contacted us.
  • Our colleague Lőrinc Bărbos took the bird, and the next day his wife delivered it, and handed it over to Ana Daniela Ciocan, a volunteer who has already cared for many injured wild animals.

After regaining its strength, the swan was ringed and released in Oradea, on the Crișul Repede River, under the curious eyes of pedestrians.

Thanks to all those who were involved in the recovery and release of this beautiful Mute swan.
