A captivating composition, a silhouette photography of a of a chamois on a mountain meadow, was chosen as the best entry of the 15th edition of the International Milvus Nature Photography Contest, organised by us, the Milvus Group and our friends from Forona.

The Grand Prize winning photo entitled “Silhouette” was taken by Ervin Horesnyík from Slovakia, who confessed: „It is a huge honor and happiness that I feel, and a special joy that my photo from the mountain world, which is so dear to me, received this prize.”

The award ceremony of the competition took place on 8 June at the closing gala of the Lynx Festival in Brasov, where, in addition to the Grand Prize winner, the best photographers in the Nature, Wildlife, Nature of Romania categories and, for the first time in the history of the competition, the best photographers in the Junior category were awarded.

If you would like to admire this year’s best works, you can find them in the centre of Brasov (Brasov County), where they will remain until 29 June, after which the exhibition will move to a new venue.

The Lynx Festival provided the perfect venue to express our gratitude and appreciation to the nature photographers who bring us closer to wildlife through their work.

As part of the festival, we also organised an educational activity, a dynamic workshop where participants learned more about different bird nests, identified bird species and won prizes.
