The “Milvus” International Nature Photography Contest needs no introduction, as this is the 15th year that photos from all over the world have been submitted and judged by a prestigious jury.

Here are the categories of this year’s competition:

• Nature (with entry fee);
• Wildlife (with entry fee);
•  Nature of Romania (with entry fee);
• Junior (first-time category, NO entry fee, under 16 years old).

Registration is open until 20 March. The general public can vote for their favourite photo between 29 April and 12 May, after which the winners will be announced.

This competition is a great opportunity to have your photos exhibited and win various prizes:

• Grand Prize: the Milvus Trophy, €750 and a 4-day nature observation tour of the Făgăraș Mountains for 2 people (with a guide), offered by Conservation Carpathia.
• First prize in each of the categories A, B and C: certificates of merit and a cash prize of €300.
• Second prize in each of the categories A, B or C: a certificate of merit and a cash prize of €200.
• Third prize in each of the categories A, B or C: a certificate of merit and the “Vâlcea Naturală” photo album by Daniel Mîrlea.
• Junior Award: certificate of merit and the photo albums: “Wild Romania” by Dan Dinu and “Terra Silva” by Dorin Bofan.
• Public Award: certificate of merit and a gift package offered by Milvus Group. 

All you have to do is fill in the registration form on the competition page, upload your photos and pay the entry fee (if you are not competing in the Junior category).

You can enter a maximum of 5 photos per category.

The “Milvus” International Nature Photography Contest is organized by the Milvus Group Association, together with FORONA, the Romanian Nature Photographers Organization.
