June was an emotionally charged month for all those who followed the livestreams from the two white stork nests we monitor via webcams. 

At the first nest, we witnessed the life of a pair that lost their chicks. The stork couple remained loyal to the site, returning to the nest and even tending to it despite the loss.

Meanwhile, at the second nest, we were able to watch the four chicks grow day by day under the attentive care of their parents, who brought them food to nourish and strengthen them in preparation for the long-awaited moment of their first flight.

As we watched them stretch their wings with growing confidence and test their balance on the edge of the nest, we witnessed a true lesson in courage, care, and patience.

The differences between the two nests reminded us just how unpredictable wildlife can be, full of challenges, yet also filled with moments of hope.
