Dumbrăvioara in Mureș County, is one of the most important nesting sites for white storks in Transylvania, rightfully called the “Village of the Storks”. It is no wonder that we have also paid special attention to this village, which is dear to us.
In 2004, we launched a comprehensive program that included the creation of a stork museum, the organization of a stork festival, and efforts to boost tourism.
In 2006, we launched Romania’s first stork camera. Initially, between 2006 and 2009, the broadcast from the nest was available only in the stork museum, but from 2010 onwards, the nest’s events could be followed live.

Over the past 20 years, countless people have connected and followed the nest daily — some even hourly — to see what is happening there. This has built a large community that eagerly follows the lives of the residents year after year.
This year, we are launching the broadcast for the 20th time from the first camera and for the 7th time from the second, hoping to provide an enjoyable experience for many of you and to bring you closer to nature and these wonderful birds.
