Want to get closer to nature? Want to know how you can help birds in winter? Want to know more about what you can do to help nature and bird species? Want to experience bird ringing, get a closer look at birds and experience the release of a bird?

The target audience for our project “Family Days in Nature with Milvus Group” are exactly those people who would answer yes to at least one of the questions above. The project was selected at the 14th edition of the Cercul Donatorilor (Giving Circle). This means that on 21 November 2024, starting at 17:30, we are counting on you, in Târgu Mureș, at Multinvest Business Center II, 64-68 Gheorghe Doja Street. Together we can make valuable ideas come true!

Can’t you be physically present? No problem! Technology is on your side. You can donate from the comfort of your own home, online, directly from the Fundația Comunitară website

About the project:

”Family Days in Nature with Milvus Group” was born out of a desire to provide information and support to those who want to get closer to nature and help birds. Within project we will organise 4 events, one for each season.

  • In the winter we will help the birds that spend the cold season close to us. During a workshop we will learn about the correct way to feed birds in the cold season
  • In the spring we focus on nesting. The population of many bird species is declining precisely because of the lack of nesting places. There will be a practical session on how to make artificial nests so that everyone can contribute to helping nesting birds at this critical time.
  • In the summer, we will escape the noise of the city and everyday problems and connect with nature on a guided walk, learning to identify birds by their calls and songs.
  • In autumn, we will go on a hike and have the opportunity to take part in a bird ringing, an extremely important research activity but also a unique experience to see birds up close.

Target amount (amount needed to organise the 4 activities): 12 000 RON.

These activities not only increase the knowledge of the participants, but also encourage the active participation of the community in bird conservation with practical solutions that can be easily applied in everyday life.
