In middle of April 2006 we received from Tirgu Mures’s citizens three species of owl. The freshly fledged chicks of Long-eared Owl (Asio otus) and Tawny Owl (Strix aluco) were found by local people in two different parks of the city. The owls were fed in captivity for a few days and soon they will be ready for adoption by families from the same species. The third species is an injured Ural Owl (Strix uralensis).
