Az olyan \u00f6reg erd\u0151ket kedveli, ahol a k\u00f6zelben tal\u00e1l nedves r\u00e9teket vagy kasz\u00e1l\u00f3kat. A nedves r\u00e9tek mellett sz\u00edvesen vad\u00e1szik sz\u00e1nt\u00f3f\u00f6ldeken vagy mez\u0151gazdas\u00e1gi ter\u00fcleteken is, ahol b\u00e9k\u00e1kat \u00e9s kiseml\u0151s\u00f6ket zs\u00e1km\u00e1nyol. F\u00e9szk\u00e9t \u00f6regebb f\u00e1kra k\u00e9sz\u00edti a lombkoron\u00e1ban f\u0151k\u00e9nt a t\u00f6rzs mell\u00e9. A gallyakb\u00f3l k\u00e9sz\u00fclt f\u00e9szket \u00e9vekig haszn\u00e1lja, minden \u00e9vben z\u00f6ld \u00e1gakkal d\u00edsz\u00edti. \u00c9vente egyszer k\u00f6lt, 1-2 toj\u00e1sa lehet. Ezt a jelens\u00e9get \u2013 a bibliai K\u00e1in \u00e9s \u00c1bel t\u00f6rt\u00e9nete nyom\u00e1n \u2013 k\u00e1inizmusnak nevezz\u00fck. Vonul\u00f3 mad\u00e1r, m\u00e1rciust\u00f3l szeptemberig tart\u00f3zkodik n\u00e1lunk.
