What does nature mean to you? For the four swimmers supporting the Swimathon <\/strong><\/a>project \u201cNature in the city, our shared responsibility<\/a><\/strong>\u201d, nature means freedom, beauty, balance, or even a source of concern when they see how vulnerable the world around us has become.<\/p>

We wanted to find out what motivated them to swim for our project, and although they are not professional swimmers, they chose to push their limits and support our cause by taking part in Swimathon.<\/p>

K\u00e1lm\u00e1n Melinda<\/h2>
\"\"<\/a><\/figure>

K\u00e1lm\u00e1n Melinda first came into contact with the Milvus Group a few years ago, when she took part in several excursions organised by us together with her daughters. She says she still fondly remembers these experiences. Visiting the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and taking part in bird ringing were particularly special moments for her, which left a strong impression and showed her that such work requires dedication and passion.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cWhat motivated me to swim for your project at Swimathon was my wish to contribute to this important work as well. It feels good to support a cause that is not only about protecting nature, but also about changing attitudes and inspiring future generations,\u201d<\/em> Melinda told us.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Kelemen M\u00e1rton<\/strong><\/h2>

Kelemen M\u00e1rton\u2019s name is closely associated with the Milvus Group. He was part of the core group of young people who were committed to dedicating their time to nature conservation and who laid the foundations of our organisation. Over the years, he has supported us in numerous nature conservation projects and we are pleased that we can count on him yet again.\u00a0\u201cTo be honest, what do you think would motivate me, when Milvus has been one of the most important parts of my life since I was 16?\u201d <\/em>he replied to our question.<\/p><\/div>

Konr\u00e1d is coming from Cluj-Napoca to swim for us.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cI first heard about Milvus from my hiking friends, and I enjoy following the stork family webcams.\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Sz\u0151ke Botond<\/strong><\/h2>

Boti, for whom nature means freedom, is also coming from Cluj-Napoca to join the swimming team.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t even know when I first heard about Milvus, probably still in my childhood. As a biologist, however, I consider the organisation\u2019s work essential, and every year I eagerly await the bird ringing at Chituc.\u201d<\/em> he shared.<\/p><\/div>
