We decided that this would be a suitable location for installing an artificial nest. We stopped next to two solitary poplar trees standing in the middle of a vast field and began constructing the metal structure. After making sure it was stable and secure, we raised it to a height of 19 metres in order to install it. Inside, we placed thick and thin branches to imitate the natural nest structure used by eagles. Finally, we installed a camera to monitor whether the nest will be occupied and to detect any potential human disturbance in the area.

So far, we have identified three territories occupied by eagles, an encouraging result considering that the breeding season is still at an early stage.

In the coming period, we will continue to check areas where eagles have been observed in the past.
