The four activities are linked to the four seasons.

The first activity, focused on autumn, has already been developed and tested both in kindergarten and with students in grades VI and VII. The activity included, among other things, mapping nearby wetlands: the Mureș River for kindergarten children and the Niraj River for older students. The children learned about the role of running waters, the fauna of aquatic habitats, and how to use blank maps for orientation.

Water samples were also analysed to determine pH and ammonia levels. Students were introduced to bird species living in aquatic habitats, with a focus on the grey heron. The module is designed to include activities adapted to different age groups: students in grades V–VIII learn about the heron through teamwork, while younger children explore the same theme through colouring and play.

<figure
