{"id":48623,"date":"2025-08-13T12:27:02","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T09:27:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milvus.ro\/we-started-the-2025-ringing-season-at-chituc-ringing-camp\/"},"modified":"2025-08-13T13:01:25","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T10:01:25","slug":"we-started-the-2025-ringing-season-at-chituc-ringing-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milvus.ro\/en\/we-started-the-2025-ringing-season-at-chituc-ringing-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"We started the 2025 ringing season at Chituc Ringing Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has been <strong>12 years<\/strong> since we restarted the <strong>bird ringing camp on Chituc Spit<\/strong> in its current format, and just like in previous years, we set up the nets and the yurt at the end of July (Fig. 1) and began collecting this year\u2019s data on songbirds migration.<\/span>&#13;\n&#13;\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As previously reported, we concluded <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/milvus.ro\/en\/another-autumn-another-ringing-season-on-chituc-spit\/\">last year\u2019s ringing camp <\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with <strong>13 319 birds ringed<\/strong>, bringing the total number of birds ringed between 2014 and 2024 to 158 289.
