The number of failed breeding attempts was significantly lower than in previous years.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This achievement is especially important, as one of the long-term goals of the LIFE project titled <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sakerlife2.mme.hu\/en\/index.html\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cConservation of the Falco Cherrug in NE Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (carried out between 2010 and 2014) was to increase the population of the species.<\/span><\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\r\n<p class=\"responsive-video-wrap clr\"><iframe title=\"Saker Falcon ringing 2018\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bBg96ah6klE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\r\n<\/div><\/figure><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the artificial nest boxes installed in western Romania \u2013 specifically in <strong>Timi\u0219, Arad, Bihor and Satu Mare counties<\/strong> \u2013 the number of breeding pairs has grown slowly but steadily.
