In autumn<\/strong>, we talked about bird migration and the changing face of nature in the fall. During winter<\/strong>, we searched for animal tracks and learned how to feed birds during the cold season. In spring<\/strong>, we built nests and discovered how birds start their families.<\/span> \n<\/span> \n<\/span>However, our educational activities in the 2024\u20132025 school year were much richer than this: we explored the forest, peeked into nest boxes, visited the Milvus Group\u2019s rehabilitation centre where we met recovering animals, ringed birds, and became nature detectives for a few hours.<\/span><\/p>

Throughout the school year,<\/strong> we organised a total of 136 activities<\/strong>: 84 regular and 52 occasional sessions<\/strong>. Nearly 1,400 children and young people participated<\/strong>, learning about the value of nature, the lives of animals, the basics of eco-friendly living, and the importance of environmental awareness. We organized 15 excursions<\/strong> and, regardless of the weather, spent memorable hours outdoors.<\/span><\/p>

Our programmes weren\u2019t only for school classes. As part of the \u201cFamily Days in Nature with the Milvus Group\u201d<\/strong> project, we invited families on a bird song walk<\/strong> and organised a family hike<\/strong> where alongside children and adults, we explored the Rigmani Forest, ringed birds, identified mushrooms, and marvelled at the size of a bear footprint.<\/span><\/p>

We were also happy to accept various invitations: for example, we celebrated World Animal Day<\/strong> together with the T\u00e2rgu Mure\u0219 Zoo and promoted our activities alongside other civil organisations at this year\u2019s Civil Fair<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

When we weren\u2019t running activities, we took part in various training sessions<\/strong> to expand our knowledge and learn new educational methods. We completed a basic training on teaching methods, where we gained insight into the benefits of forest bathing<\/strong>. In Visegr\u00e1d, we acquired important knowledge during the Walking Camp Leader training.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

All in all, we\u2019ve wrapped up another successful year.<\/strong> Schools have emptied, activities have come to an end, but the Milvus Nature Camp<\/strong> is still to come. We are now working at full speed to ensure that from 7 to 11 July<\/strong>, participating children will enjoy a memorable and fun experience.<\/span><\/p>
