\u00a0When we join forces, we can achieve truly meaningful things.<\/span> \n<\/span> \n \nThis is exactly what happened when we at the Milvus Group found a reliable partner in Betfair Romania Development<\/strong>, a company that understands how important it is to support nature and help endangered species.<\/span><\/p>

Through the \u201cBet on Birds\u201d<\/strong> project, we set out, together with this company, to continue the efforts we began many years ago to strengthen the population of the European roller<\/strong> \u2013 a species deeply affected by human activity, especially the felling of old trees.<\/span><\/p>

As part of the project, we acquired 30 artificial nests<\/strong> made of woodcrete, a durable material capable of withstanding harsh weather conditions. With the help of volunteers from Spain and Germany, we installed<\/strong> these \u201chomes\u201d for the rollers in areas of Bihor<\/strong> and Arad<\/strong> counties where we had previously placed wooden nest boxes. Unfortunately, many of those were damaged or disappeared due to weather or human interference.<\/span><\/p>

Now, all we can do is wait for the rollers to return from migration and hope that each artificial nest will become the home of a new family. \n<\/p>

In just a few months, we will return to one of the project locations \u2013 specifically to Salonta<\/strong> \u2013 and invite the local community to get to know these wonderful birds up close during a bird ringing event<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>
