{"id":45935,"date":"2025-03-10T13:52:13","date_gmt":"2025-03-10T11:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milvus.ro\/white-throated-dippers-counted-again\/"},"modified":"2025-03-10T14:03:24","modified_gmt":"2025-03-10T12:03:24","slug":"white-throated-dippers-counted-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milvus.ro\/en\/white-throated-dippers-counted-again\/","title":{"rendered":"White-throated dippers, counted again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have completed the <a href=\"https:\/\/milvus.ro\/en\/monitoring\/white-throated-dipper-monitoring\/\"><strong>White-throated Dipper Monitoring Programme<\/strong><\/a> for this year, marking its eleventh consecutive year.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year\u2019s survey took place between <strong>\u00a020\u201325 <\/strong><\/span><strong>January<\/strong>, involving <strong>27 teams<\/strong> and a total of <strong>82 participants<\/strong>. The observers covered <strong>11 rivers<\/strong> and recorded a total of <strong>365 White-throated dippers<\/strong>.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the 50 km stretch of the <strong>Mure\u0219 River, between Deda \u2013 Topli\u021ba<\/strong> , 30 volunteers carried out observations. However, we cannot definitively say that the White-throated dipper population is in decline, as various factors may influence the observed numbers.
