In the first month of the year, we visited our regular groups and talked to children about the 10 owl species native in Romania. This month, we chose to focus on owls because this is the time of the Winter Census of the Long-eared Owl in Romania, and the children can easily spot long-eared owls near their homes. \n<\/p>

During this activity, the little ones learned about the owl species they might encounter, what owls eat, and even got to examine the bones found in owl pellets using a magnifying glass. \n<\/p>

Our January activities took place in educational institutions in T\u00e2rgu Mure\u0219, mostly in kindergartens.<\/p>

The demand for these activities remains high in the coming period. For instance, during the week of May 5-9, many institutions are organising Green Week<\/strong> and have invited us to speak to students about environmental protection and ecological issues. During these Green Week activities, we focus on taking children out into nature and bringing them closer to wildlife.<\/span><\/p>

We have also started planning our camps<\/strong> for this year. Our day camp<\/strong> for grades 0-4 will take place from June 23-27, followed by our residential summer camp<\/strong> for grades 2-6 from July 7-11.
