We organised a ringing event in the Natura 2000 protected area of Liteni-S\u0103v\u0103disla grasslands near Cluj-Napoca on 8 September. In addition to the local breeding birds, autumn migrants can be found in the nets set up in the bushes between the two forest patches.\u00a0<\/span> \n \n\u00a0<\/p>

This was indeed the case, with exactly half of the ringed species (12) being migrants. The 23 participants had the opportunity to observe the ringing process for each bird: fitting the ring, determining age and sex, taking measurements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
