{"id":15594,"date":"2016-03-18T14:55:50","date_gmt":"2016-03-18T12:55:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/2016\/03\/18\/28-bats-saved\/"},"modified":"2022-03-23T16:17:42","modified_gmt":"2022-03-23T14:17:42","slug":"28-bats-saved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milvus.ro\/en\/28-bats-saved\/","title":{"rendered":"28 bats saved"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, on a street in T\u00eergu Mure\u0219 a plane tree was cut and 28 Noctule Bats (<em>Nyctalus noctula<\/em>) lost their habitat. Thanks to the kindergarten\u2019 s teachers in the nearby, who informed us, we were able to take 26 of them. Two others were brought to the <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Vets4WildRomania\/?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Vets4Wild&#8221; Association<\/a>. Those bats in a good condition (26) were released in a park, while the other two remain under observation. <em>Nyctalus noctula<\/em> is a common bat, they hunt for large insects in the sunset, they fly high \u2013 about 40 -50 m as the Swallows do and withdrawn to their shelter at midnight.
