Landscape and Wildlife – deadline: 13th of August!

We love nature and yet we distance ourselves from it. We admire thousands of breathtaking scenery pictures on social media, all other’s people experiences. We challenge you to get out from the shelter of your house, enjoy the sun, the nature, the peacefulness and quietness of the forests, the clicking noise of a wild spring and the greatness of the wilderness. We urge you to immortalize these moments and take part in the 8th International Milvus Nature Photography Contest.

Deadline for sending pictures to contest is extended to 13th of August!

You have two sections where you can enter up to four photos: Landscape and Wildlife; the main condition is that you make them in natural conditions and do not edit them on computer.

Please respect nature, it is important not to disturb wildlife while taking these snapshots!

You can register and upload your photos directly on the Milvus Group’s SITE, in the RULES section you can find all the necessary information as well as the  conditions you need to fulfil.

The composition of the jury of the 8thInternational Milvus Nature Photography Contest is already a tradition, we are honoured by: Tamás András AFIAP – photograph artist and jury chairman, István Kerekes EFIAP / p Hon.FtGM – artist and photographer and Dan Dinu AFIAP – photographer.

Application deadline is 6th of August and the judging will takes place on August 20th. Between 22 – 31 August, the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite picture on the of Milvus Group’s Facebook page.

The Grand Prize consists in the Milvus Trophy, a certificate of merit and 500 euros, but each category will have three winners. In parallel, the photographer who wows audiences on Facebook and the best Romanian photographer will receive a special package from us.

This year’s winner’s exhibition will take place in October at a date to be set later.

The Milvus Group’s photo contest is in perpetual transformation, every year, we get photos that awe us, proof that people still appreciate a walk in nature, a sunset, a ladybird on her way on a leaf or a majestic bird in its flight “- Judith Papp, manager of competition.

Last year, more than 450 photos entered in the contest, in two sections – general and macro. The works came from countries such as Romania, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Spain, Belgium, Gibraltar, Denmark, France, Greece, Finland, Macao, Slovakia and Great Britain.
