Earlier in July, Milvus Group was contacted by the representative of a stork migration research project from Germany (www.movebank.org) who asked us to find a young White Stork equipped with a GPS-logger in the Casin Depression (Harghita county). The team from Germany sent us the equipment to download the migration data from the logger.

On the 12th of July 2013 Róbert Zeitz and Tamás Papp travelled to the location from where the stork sent the last signals. They managed to download all migration data of the stork. In the area there were approximately 400-500 White Storks, in groups of 50-100 individuals. They found three storks with colour ring: one from Germany, one from Poland and another one from Croatia.
