During July 2011 Milvus Group signed a new funding contract with the Environmental Fund Administration (www.afm.ro) in financing the project entitled “Ecological education for a sustainable  future”. In august we organized our “traditional” camp for children and young people in Rigmani village (Neaua community, Mureș county). The participants were accommodated in yurts and they took part not only in traditional activities but also in scientific research (ringing birds, identifying plants and insects, analysing owl pellets, chemical analysis of water). In September-October 2011 we organised one day trips to the Forest School from Rigmani for 16 different groups from preschool and schools. The children visited a local woman who bakes bread in oven and a smith from Ghinești, and climbed to the Rigmani campsite where employees of Milvus Group ringed birds. Thanks to the good weather every participant had a great time, in clean air, learning in the school benches of nature.
