On 24 th of January the Milvus Group purchased its first building. The traditional house is situated in the village of Sânsimion (part of Neaua commune) and it was purchased under the project “Sustainable regional development model project in the Carpathian Mountains ” implemented in cooperation with CEEWEB and financed by the DOEN Foundation of Holland. The house will be refurbished and will be developed in a “Traditional livelihoods museum” as well as in a community center and project headquarters.
On 18 th of January the Milvus Group signed an agreement of cooperation with the Retezat National Park Administration under the Life Nature project – Conservative management of alpine habitats in the Retezat National Park. The main objective of the project is the conservation of the alpine habitats in the Retezat Mountains. According to the agreement the Milvus Group will develop an “Alpine wildlife dedicated database” an will complete the Natura 2000 standard data forms for the designated areas of the park.
